I'm Daniel, a former Facebook/Meta community strategist with a deep passion for fostering meaningful connections. With a rich background in event hosting and community building, I have personally organised hundreds of events, while my social group has successfully hosted over 1,000 meetups. Additionally, I've trained numerous community managers to run impactful events that strengthen connections.

Events background

From 2019 to 2023, during my tenure at Meta, I had the privilege of supporting 31,000 Power Admins who led some of the most engaged Facebook Groups. This exciting journey included leading and hosting over fifty events, including a mental health summit that connected 60 Community Leaders with 40 charities, organizations, and experts. I also had the honor of speaking at numerous events, such as a panel discussion when Facebook signed the Armed Forces Covenant, where we explored the importance of community. Additionally, I created an internal playbook on how to organize events that foster meaningful connections.

Since 2012, I have been the organiser of the Putney Social Group, where we have hosted over one thousand successful events. From engaging pub quizzes to delightful dinner clubs and fun-filled boat parties to fantastic outdoor socials, we've done it all. Our most popular events are our beloved speed-friending events, which bring people together in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere with no pressure.

From 2012 to 2019, I worked on over one hundred events for Digital Marketing Communities. These ranged from free digital meetups with 250 attendees to extravagant Digital Leaders Banquets for the C-suite.
