Asking for business introductions can be a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be dull or overly formal. Here are ten fun and creative ways to ask your network for business introductions:

1. Make it Personal: Share a personal story or anecdote with your contact, and explain why you're passionate about your business. This will help them understand your mission and make more meaningful introductions.

2. Share a Video: Create a fun and engaging video explaining your business and the type of clients you're looking for. Ask your contacts to share it with their network and make introductions on your behalf.

3. Play a Game: Play a game with your contact that requires them to introduce you to someone new. For example, play the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game but with your industry or target audience.

4. Host an Event: Host an event, such as a happy hour or dinner party, and ask your contacts to bring a friend who could benefit from your services or products.

5. Offer a Reward: Offer a reward or incentive to your contacts for making successful introductions. For example, a free product or service, a gift card, or a personalised thank-you note.

6. Ask for a Referral Card: Ask your contacts to design a referral card for you, and offer a prize for the best design. The card could include your contact information and a message asking for an introduction.

7. Challenge them: Challenge your contact to a friendly competition and use the introduction as the prize. For example, ask them to guess the answer to a riddle, and whoever gets it right first gets to introduce you to a potential client.

8. Be Creative: Use your creativity to come up with a unique and memorable way to ask for introductions. For example, you could send a message written in code or hidden in a puzzle.

9. Share a Meme: Send a funny meme or GIF to your contact, accompanied by a message asking for a business introduction. Make sure the image is relevant to your request and appropriate for your audience.

10. Use Humour: Use humour in your message to make it more engaging and memorable. For example, you could say, "I promise not to send you any more cat memes if you introduce me to your CEO." Last resort and only if you are 100% sure will land with your audience.

Remember to be respectful and mindful of your contact's time and preferences. Choose an approach that aligns with your brand and messaging and that resonates with your audience.

Have you shared your elevator pitch with your network?

If not, do it! (P.s. Video is the most digitally efficient content as ou have the video, audio for a podcast, you can embed on your website or linked and even make yourself a meme!
